A Dreamy Engagement Session in the Rain | Alison + Riley
I love the rain, well at least in a personal sense. I hate when it rains all day on wedding days. Don't get me wrong a little variety is always nice. That's why this session was so nice. We had a lot of variety when it came to the weather.
A Sweet Fall Sunset Session in Cuyahoga Valley | Emily + Tre
The park was busy with lots of families and couples having fall photos taken, but we were lucky to find secluded spots along the way with very few other guests in the area. I love these parks and the easy yet beautiful walks along the trails in the woods. It was also really nice to get these two cuddled up together to capture their sweetness together.
A Late Summer Engagement Session | Laurel + Ben
This engagement session was absolutely beautiful on an absolutely beautiful night. Laurel and Ben made my job so easy. They looked incredible, they took direction so well and they truly showed me their real selves. I couldn’t have asked for a better session!
Is an Engagement Session Necessary?
If you didn’t already know this, I include engagement sessions in all of my collections. I include them complimentary for a few reasons. I really enjoy engagement sessions with my couples. This really helps me to get to know who you are together without the the chaos of the wedding day. And as much as I am learning about you, you are learning about me as well.
A Snowy, Winter Engagement Session
Randi and I discussed many options for locations for their winter engagement session. Originally we had wanted to use a Christmas Tree Farm but decided there wasn’t enough variety there. I suggested that they check out the Brecksville Reservation, which ended up being exactly what they wanted. They take a lot of hikes together all over the area so this was a great location for them.
Cleveland Cultural Gardens Engagement Session
Champagne, Puppies & NFL Jersey’s… Jenna & Marcus brought along their adorable pup Rupert for a few photos. I don’t get a lot of pets at engagement sessions but when I do, I usually fall in love. It was extreme this time. I mean look at this sweet face! It’s even better that they rescued him and brought him home to be family.
Cleveland Cultural Gardens Engagement
I seriously have been loving these beautiful engagement sessions! I think this year has made me even more grateful for my amazing couples and the time we get to spend together before their wedding. I truly value my time at the engagement session because I get to really chat with my couple and learn more about them and their lives outside of wedding chat.
Briana + Alex Summer Engagement Session
You can see how much they care for one another in every glance, kiss and whisper. They tease each other in a way that keeps the smiles on their faces and the laughter comes so naturally. I love to see this connection between my couples! The way that Alex looks at Briana is the stuff movies are made of. How amazing to have a love like this?
Kelsey + Charley
Finally the day arrived after many conversations and text messages. And it couldn’t have been more magical. The entire evening was perfect! It was so great to finally get out and photograph this wonderful couple! Charley was amazing, we sure put him through a lot, but I hope that he sees that it was all worth it!
Megan + Chris
We met up at Wade Lagoon on a warm October evening. We were so lucky that the weather was incredible and the light that night was better then I could have ever hoped for. We wandered around the familiar space talking about their wedding plans and their lives together. I felt like a comfortable friend.
Hannah + Kyle
Kyle grew up here in Medina and Hannah grew up in a small town in Texas. They wanted a little bit of each of their hometowns to be a part of their wedding celebrations. Hannah contacted me about having engagement photos taken while visiting Kyle’s family.
Melissa + Joe
Melissa & Joe met me at the Kingwood Center gardens and we wandered all over the beautiful grounds laughing and chatting like old friends. The two of them fit so well together and are such great compliment to one-an-other. Believe it or not, all of my laughing shots of them are real. They laugh together so easily, which I love. It makes my job so easy.
