WHAT WE OFFER

When you choose to work with Lea Marie Photography, you are choosing a small business owner who takes great pride in her work. Each session, event, and wedding is unique and I love working with my couples to ensure that uniqueness is captured. It brings me so much joy helping you plan your engagement session, assisting with finding meaningful locations, and giving opinions on outfits that will complement each other.

I know that my couples choose me as their photographer because they value photography and particularly my light, airy, and candid style. As your photographer, I look forward to working hard to capture the story of your memorable day!

The Experience

  • 1. Booking

    It all starts with a message. After you contact me we start a conversation and I will typically ask to schedule a call so we can “meet”. This gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you have and it helps to see if we click.
    I will usually send over the proposal after these calls so that you can choose your option, sign a contract and pay the retainer.

  • 2. engagement session

    Together we get to plan the most perfect way to showcase your relationship through beautiful imagery. You can use the session guide that I send after booking to choose your outfits and locations for the session.

  • 3. Planning

    I am here all along the planning process to help you with any questions you might have. I have been involved with weddings for over 10 years and I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly side of weddings.

  • 4. timeline planning

    Before you send out invitiations and set everything in stone, we will have a timeline call to go over the plan for the day. This will help me to foresee any issues that may cause unnecessary difficulties for your photos. I depend on natural light to create the images that you see displayed throughout my portfolio. So I ask that couples keep that in mind when creating a wedding day timeline.

  • 5. wedding day

    Your wedding day will go by in a flash. I will be there to capture the moments of the day that you will remember for a lifetime. I never want to impact a wedding day by my presance. I prefer to capture it as it comes and not direct every moment. This will give you more candid and fun photos of you and your guests.

Frequently Asked Questions 

HOW MANY PHOTOS ARE TYPICALLY INCLUDED AND CAN WE PRINT THE PHOTOS OURSELVES?

Galleries typically include anywhere between 800 and 1200 photos. The exact amount varies from wedding to wedding. Your online gallery will come loaded with fully edited high-resolution images you can print directly through the gallery (highly recommended for best quality prints) or download and print from a lab of your choosing. You’re also welcome to share your wedding photos on Social Media as long as you credit us and link to our website.

DO YOU TYPICALLY CHARGE TRAVEL FEES?

I typically add travel fees to any wedding outside of a 60-mile radius from my home in Medina, Ohio. Fees vary depending on location so ask me for more details.

WE LOVE YOUR WORK AND WE'RE READY TO BOOK! WHAT'S THE NEXT STEP?

Fantastic! I’m so excited to get the opportunity to work with you! To reserve your wedding date, I will need a completed and signed contract as well as a $500 non-refundable deposit. If you don’t have a contract yet, just let me know and I’ll send one over! The remaining balance will be due 2 weeks before the wedding.

IS AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION ALWAYS NECESSARY?

An engagement session isn’t required but I strongly suggest them. The engagement session allows us to get to know each other and allows my couples to become comfortable with my style of posing and shooting. This way, everyone is more comfortable on the wedding day.
