Laurel + Ben A Perfectly Private Ceremony in the Gardens at Lakewood Park
From the first time we talked about their wedding day plans, Laurel + Ben knew exactly how they wanted their entire day to feel. They knew that the most important thing at the end of the day was that they were together, married as husband + wife.
An Elegant Winter Wedding in the City | Brooke + Trip
We returned to the hotel for their ceremony in the Tudor Ballroom. The room was warm and filled with beautiful light pouring in from the big, beautiful windows. The aisleway between the gold chivari chairs was lined with candles and fresh greenery. The couple chose to have Trips sister and her husband officiate the ceremony which added a fun and meaningful charm to their vows. After the I Do's and the very romantic first kiss, they walked up the aisle and provided a beautiful dip kiss for me to capture, amazing!
A Joyous and Classic Wedding Celebrating Love| Amanda + Paul
Amanda + Paul both work in healthcare so the past few years have been very hard on them both. Celebrating their wedding day was going to be a day to celebrate (and party) with all of their loved ones.
This couple put so much thought and so much work into all the details of their day. Not only were they planning a wedding, they were building a new house! Talk about stressful! But everything turned out beautifully and went off without a hitch.
A Pretty, Outdoor Farm Wedding in Ohio | Kelci + Adam
The excitement was live as the wedding party made their way to the front of the wooden seats filled with family and friends ready to witness this couple become one. As Kelci and her Dad stepped into the aisle, Adam held his face in his hands and cried at the sight of his beautiful bride. A large smile filled his face and it was instant relief from that moment on.
Old Stone Chapel + Firestone Country Club Wedding | Rachel + Michael
Rachel and Michael’s July wedding at The Old Stone Chapel in Canton was everything a bride could dream of. The chapel is a beautiful, historic church available to all couples not matter their faith. Michael’s father officiated the ceremony with the kindest, heart felt sermon celebrating the love between his son, Rachel and all of their loved ones.
A Pocket Wedding at Inn Walden
When I arrived at Inn Walden, I took a little time to wander around the halls admiring all the light and the beautiful architecture. When I entered the couples suite, Lilly greeted me with a great big smile looking absolutely stunning in her champagne gown adorned with a flowy, floor-length cape.
Should We Have A First Look?
For many couples, the decision to wait until the ceremony to see each other is an easy one. For others, deciding to have a private moment together before the ceremony is best. Each couple is different, everyone feels strongly about the tradition of waiting to see the bride until she is arm-in-arm with her Dad on the way down the aisle. Maybe, you don’t know how you feel about it. I personally whole heartedly believe in a first look. And while I will not stop you from waiting to see each other, I will do my job and inform you on why I believe in the first look.
A Virginia Estate Wedding in Fall
As we pulled up the stone driveway surrounded by newly turned leaves, we had a perfect view of the historic estate home with beautiful white columns and rustic rocking chairs. It is truly a photographers dream! I would love to have the opportunity to shoot here again in the future.
Columbia Hills Country Club Wedding
When everything came to a halt early in the year, they opted to hang on and see how things changed before postponing their wedding. They were bound and determined to keep their wedding date. They did have to make changes to their plans by significantly downsizing their day, but they didn’t let that get them down. They pushed forward with a socially distanced, micro wedding. But make no mistake, besides the number of guests, there was nothing micro about their day!
Elegant Blue Micro Wedding
This beautiful styled shoot was put together based on a dream I had. I couldn’t stop thinking about it so I reached out to some incredible vendors and was lucky to find so many talented people willing to jump onboard.
Acacia Clubhouse Wedding
What happens when you have to rebook your wedding from June to a Halloween wedding because of a worldwide pandemic? You throw an amazing shindig with your nearest and dearest and you look amazing doing it! That’s what this couple did…
A Cleveland Micro Wedding
To say that 2020 has thrown the world off balance would be an understatement. So may couples have had to make the difficult decisions to make adjustments to their wedding day plans. Whether they are downsizing, rescheduling or eloping couples are choosing to move forward and celebrate their love! Jill & Kyle decided to move forward with their wedding (mostly) as planned. The date stayed the same but the number of guests and the reception venue had to be adjusted.
A Country Wedding in Abilene, TX
Hannah & Kyle got married near her hometown in Abilene, TX in February. When they asked me to be a part of their wedding, I was so excited! We got a little relief from the blustery cold of Ohio with this quick trip to Texas!
Brianna + Chris
Brianna & Chris had perfect weather for a beautiful classic wedding at Brookside Farms. It was a little on the warm side but we were happy to avoid rain on their big day! From the moment I arrived, Brianna was so calm and relaxed. She was getting some finishing touches to hair and makeup in the bridal suite while her bridesmaids buzzed about. Everyone worked together to make sure the entire day went smooth as silk.
Club at Hillbrook Wedding
This Club at Hillbrook wedding was absolutely beautiful from start to finish! Rachel with All Events Planned worked with Sai & Kyle to include so many details that were important to each of their families. Tradition was woven into every moment of the day and it was so incredibly beautiful.
Melissa + Joe
Melissa & Joe had a beautiful vision for their wedding and they both worked so hard to bring it all to life. Mother Nature tried her hardest to dampen their spirits but she did not succeed.
The days leading up to the wedding Melissa and I kept messaging each other with weather updates and back up plans for rainy weather. She was bummed that they weren’t going to be able to use the lush green grounds of the mansion but she trusted my vision. I always hope for a break in the rain so we can at least attempt some outdoor shots but this day in particular, we were not going to get that break.
Caitlyn + Torrey
The day of the wedding I arrived to their home once again where Caitlyn and the girls were all getting ready. Kaelyn from My Fair Makeup was working to finish everyone’s makeup. She always does such a stellar job. Caitlyn seemed calm yet excited. Her contagious smile and laugh floating through the air.
Their personalities were woven into all of the details of the day. A sort of vintage style with a modern flare. When Torrey had proposed, he had hollowed out copy of Pride & Prejudice and placed the ring inside. He said that he worked on it for so long, cutting each page carefully to fit the ring inside.
